Simple 2D animations
Blender is probably the go-to open-source software choice for animation. It doesn’t take much to get started on creating simple animations.
In this post I show a few animations I did when learning how to use Blender. Drawing these animations is relatively easy, you open Blender, go into 2D animation and use the Grease Pencil object to draw 2D animation in the 3D viewport space.
This post features the following short 2D animations:
- Man with a shocked expression while reading a book
- Ballerina making a pirouette
- Cannon firing a cannonball
- Finger pointing
